What Do You Desire?

Do you realize that we can have anything that we truly desire? It is said that we can have anything we want...the problem is most people do not know what they want. The word desire comes from the Latin phrase "de sire"-to give birth to. Desire refers to giving birth to a new idea...creating it in your mind.

We, as a society, tend to think about what we do not want instead of what we do want. Herein lies a problem. We say "I don't want to be late" and when we are late, we say "I knew it". That is true, we focused on "being late" and that is exactly what we got. You see, you can not "negate" a visual. For example: don't think of a white bear, don't tell me what your kitchen looks like, the dog is not chasing the cat. You will see a white bear, your kitchen and a dog chasing a cat.

Whatever you desire, believe and expect MUST come to pass. Anything that we can create in our mind, believe that we can have it, and expect it to manifest will happen. It's right there in the Bible..."Ask, believe it is yours, and it is." When we see in our mind what it is we want, we are sending a message to God. We then must have the belief that He will provide. The expectation of it occuring shows faith that our loving God will fulfill our desire.

What is it that you desire? Forget about what you think you can have...what do you really want in your life.
