What Are You Thinking?

What is running through your mind? Are you aware of the differnce between processing information and thinking on a creative level? Ken McFarlane said, "2% of people think, 3% of people think they think and 95% of people would rather die than think." Where do you fit?

When I first heard this...I thought "that's ridiculous." Then, I thought about it and realized he was right! Real thinking begins from the inside...not from some external stimuli or input. Using your reasoning factor to decide what your opinion is about something you just heard is not thinking. Choosing whether to go to a baseball game, have a sandwich for lunch, watch TV, read a book....and on and on...is not thinking. Those are decisions based on external things, no creative thinking going on there. Think about that for a few minutes.

Thinking creatively requires quieting your mind and blocking out all the external stuff. Take some time each day to think from the inside out. Think about what you want for your life and then think creatively on how to manifest it.

Writing causes thinking. Take out a piece of paper and write a goal at the top of the sheet. Start thinking about "how can I"...and start writing. Something magical happens when you do this. It opens your mind to more creative thinking because you attract more of the same.

Start thinking...from the inside out. You will be amazed at all that your mind is holding in the way of creative ideas. Try it, you'll like it.

Do some "imagineering"
